WHO WE ARE
Here at Callow Hill WI, near Bewdley, our small and friendly afternoon group offers lots to do in great company.​
​
WHAT WE LOVE
At every meeting there is something different to look forward to! We invite interesting and varied speakers to inform and educate us, or sometimes to make us laugh. We enjoy taking part in very light-hearted and low-key craft workshops, and indulge in a coffee and cake at varying venues once a month. We also organise visits to places of interest around the region – and always look forward to our annual Christmas meal and summer garden party.​

WHO WE ARE
Far Forest WI is a small, welcoming, enthusiastic, opinionated, loyal and fun-loving group, caring for each other and the community in general. We’d love you to join us!​

WHAT WE LOVE
Most people know that WI groups gather monthly to learn new things, hear interesting speakers, challenge themselves to fun activities and enjoy good company. Here at Far Forest WI, we do all that and more. Well known for our ‘catering corps’, we provide refreshments at the Countryside Show, car boot breakfasts, private parties and other events. As a group we enjoy all sorts of crafting activities, whether making dementia ‘activity blankets’ for the elderly, or hundreds of colourful knitted poppies for the British Legion War Memorial. For those who enjoy dressing up, we enter a float in Bewdley Carnival each year. We’re also proud of our long heritage and ongoing successes… in 2024 we celebrated our 75th anniversary, and won the community shield!​
