WHO WE ARE
Peopleton WI is proud to be a welcoming, friendly and long-standing group formed in 1930! Meeting at our excellent, fully accessible village hall, our 30 members of all ages hail from across the area, and we have great fun together across the year.

WHAT WE LOVE
There’s so much to participate in at Peopleton WI, thanks to our committee who listen to our ideas and organise activities we’ll enjoy. As a result we’ve recently taken part in Zumba, belly dancing, pottery and, yes – at the request of some of our newer members – weekend courses in jam and chutney making! Our monthly meetings feature a varied array of stimulating speakers, with recent talks including a gemologist who travels the world buying precious stones for her clients, the story of The Two Ronnies, and a craft evening of glass painting. We often get out and about too. In the past year we’ve enjoyed a coach trip to The National Memorial Arboretum (with friends welcome too), a summertime evening visit to some lovely gardens, and several meals out at a local pub or restaurant. Our committee also provides a hot supper for two meetings each year, while for our Christmas festivities everyone brings along a dish for a large, shared buffet.

WHY JOIN US
Being a smaller WI, we all know each other. Many members meet up socially between meetings too. We warmly welcome new members, and hope that they too very soon feel part of our WI!

WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1916, Pershore WI is proud to be one of the longest-established WIs in the country! We’re a friendly group of mixed ages and interests, with new faces always welcome.

WHAT WE LOVE
As a member of Pershore WI we enjoy a wide range of activities all year round. At our monthly meetings, conveniently located in the centre of Pershore, we enjoy a variety of expert talks by guest speakers… with a drink and cake always available! For the creative among us, we run a monthly, member-led craft group exploring interests such as drawing, sewing and flower-making. We make the most of outings to the theatre or for a special afternoon tea. Each year we also organise a coach trip – our most recent being a visit to Bournville and Cadbury in Birmingham, guided by a member of the Cadbury family. Pershore WI also takes active part in a host of local community activities, including the Pershore Carnival and famous Pershore Plum Festival.

WHY JOIN US
If you’re looking for lots to look forward to in good company, why not come and join our lovely group in time for our WI’s 110th birthday?
