WHO WE ARE
Rainbow WI, in the heart of Worcester, is an ever-growing, active afternoon group established in 2022. We’re always pleased to welcome new members!​
​
WHAT WE LOVE
If you’re a woman over 18 looking for a daytime group in central Worcester, do try Rainbow WI. Our meeting rooms are disability friendly, and we have a several members who are proficient in British Sign Language. Our favourite activities are crafts of all kinds… in fact our venue contains its own wool and fabric shop. On the weeks when we don’t have WI, we still hold popular craft and chat afternoons (or sometimes just chat!) We also enjoy having speakers at our meetings, always learning something new. Helping the community is equally important to Rainbow WI. We hold regular events for the neighbourhood, and even recently provided a defibrillator for our building.​

WHY JOIN US
Rainbow WI is very inclusive, friendly and welcoming. You don’t have to be good at baking cakes or making jam, just come along and be yourself!

WHAT WE LOVE
As a member of our WI you’ll be able to enjoy convenient monthly meetings, where we get together for a cuppa and a catch-up before hearing expert speakers on a wide range of interesting topics, or try our hand at unusual activities. We organise regular outings to local places of interest, or sometimes meet up for a coffee or meal out. We’re also proud to get involved in local community events, as well as supporting causes close to our hearts. Those who love reading, crafting or have other special interests can also take part in our popular sub-groups.​
