A friendly and thriving WI group, always keen to welcome new members.​

WHAT WE LOVE
As a member of our WI you’ll be able to enjoy convenient monthly meetings, where we get together for a cuppa and a catch-up before hearing expert speakers on a wide range of interesting topics, or try our hand at unusual activities. We organise regular outings to local places of interest, or sometimes meet up for a coffee or meal out. We’re also proud to get involved in local community events, as well as supporting causes close to our hearts. Those who love reading, crafting or have other special interests can also take part in our popular sub-groups.​

WHO WE ARE
West Malvern WI is welcoming and fun, relaxed and inclusive, with a great mix of ages and backgrounds. We are a medium-sized group of around 30 members drawn from across Malvern and beyond. We are a lively, dynamic bunch with a wide range of interests but don’t take ourselves too seriously!​

WHAT WE LOVE
West Malvern WI offers a wonderfully varied programme of talks, activities and events, created with input from all our members… so there’s always something to appeal to everyone and new things to discover; even ones you might never have considered before! Our annual meeting programme, which varies widely month-to-month, is posted on our website for potential members to view, and given out to existing members in bookmark form. Recently we’ve enjoyed talks on topics such as ‘blood bikes’ (yes, we did get to sit on the motorbike) and antiques. But we also arrange plenty of have-a-go meetings, from crafts to drumming! We enjoy plenty of informal social gatherings too. Our annual Swim’n’Chips is always a popular event in the summer. You can also take part in a choice of special interest sub-groups which are perfect for extra fun between meetings, including skittles, hill walking, walking rugby, and craft and games clubs.​
