A friendly and thriving WI group, always keen to welcome new members.​

WHAT WE LOVE
As a member of our WI you’ll be able to enjoy convenient monthly meetings, where we get together for a cuppa and a catch-up before hearing expert speakers on a wide range of interesting topics, or try our hand at unusual activities. We organise regular outings to local places of interest, or sometimes meet up for a coffee or meal out. We’re also proud to get involved in local community events, as well as supporting causes close to our hearts. Those who love reading, crafting or have other special interests can also take part in our popular sub-groups.​

WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Wychbury WI in Pedmore. Since opening 60 years ago we have continually evolved into the successful and enthusiastic WI we are today. We have lots of experience in how to enjoy ourselves, while still upholding the ethos of the Women’s Institute … and always welcome new members!​

WHAT WE LOVE
The WI is a diverse organisation open to all, and here at Wychbury WI we have a large membership encompassing all ages and backgrounds – which means we can support lots of special interest groups. Rambling, strollers, reading, crafting and produce clubs are all very popular, not to mention our coffee & chats and ‘wine Wednesday’! Of course, we also meet together each month to enjoy demonstrations, film shows and talks on a variety of subjects given by recommended speakers. We also continue our support of a nearby women’s refuge and our local hospice when we can. Whatever you choose, friendship is guaranteed and if you’d like to become more involved there is always the chance to do so.​
